How do you donate items instead of money?

With all the disaster relief going on right now I went looking around relief agencies like the Red Cross for ways I could help even though I’m dead broke, but couldn’t find how to donate “stuff” (clothes, blankets, shelf-stable food, etc.) instead of money. Is/are there particular agencies that specifically take items instead of or in addition to money?

In australia there are charities that except items. depends what it is. If it is sellable.
Such things like mattreses or certain clothes they dont except because of hygene issues but they do accept other items . you need to speak to them

In the US there are several Baptists and Pentecostal churches that are collecting clothing and not perishable food. The red cross likes money because it is easier to transport and purchase exactly what is needed.
