Why Will my Horse Not STOP rippping its rugs! GRRR?

Urghh.,Had a Bad day.. Stressed Lol.
Anyway, My horse is a boystruss little thing, he has to wear a muzzle in the feild beacuse he fights over the fence, And he just Keeps ripping his rug.
I spent £100 on his winter turnout. And hes recked it in a few weeks.
Ive had to spend loads on turnouts, stables, and everyting. Its just getting a bit much.
I do send my rugs to be repaird, but then he just does it again.

Horse Blankets?

okay, im going to get a horse. I live in PA, NJ, NY area, so the weather is very different in the summer and winter. both are not mild. my horse will be getting clipped in the winter time. i will need blankets but dont know which types to get. for example, can i save money by buying a turnout sheet and then a medium and heavy stable blanket to go under? or do i buy a turnout heavy, medium and a sheet? fly sheets? dress sheets? coolers? help?
